Realistic visualisations, walk-throughs and construction animations are just three examples of the many services which MedTec offer to assist architects with their workloads.
MedTec can help to strengthen your team’s understanding of complex projects with the use of rendered images and animations. Our advanced ability means they can help to communicate the design, both internally for project collaboration, and externally for public outreach.
MedTec’s images, animations and 3D prints are produced using the very latest design technology. As this is an electronic service, alterations are quick and simple which minimises rework and saves design teams, subcontractors, and clients, both time and money.

West Wight Sports Centre
MedTec were approached by a client we had worked with in the past who had secured planning permission for an extension to the gym at West Wight Sports & Community Centre in Freshwater (a registered charity).
The Gym and sports centre had to raise the £150,000 to build and kit out the fitness room –They were looking to raise the profile of the project by exploring the possibility of some visual aids to get people excited and give an impression of how it could look. When taking on the project our client didn’t know about the colour schemes or exactly what equipment was going to be used, we knew we had to produce something that looked exciting and conceptual which would be great to get the public on board.
MedTec produced a selection of images after creating a full 3D Model in 3ds Max. We rendered these images using VRAY which was a new bit of software for us at the time. Due to the nature of the project we decided to wavier our fee with the hope that this will get across the line and get built.
The images went live during a running festival which they held and were welcomed with great feedback.
“Dan was very helpful, efficient and offered advice and guidance on our design – I could not fault him. The work was completed quickly and on time and was of a high standard. I highly recommend Dan Carley and Medtec.”
