The Medtec Design Services website uses cookies. Please read the below document to familiarise yourself with what cookies we use and what for.
A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. There are two types of Cookies – they can either be “session” (will expire at the end of the session – when the web browser is closed) cookies or “persistent” (will be stored by your web browser and will remain valid until its expiry date) cookies.
Cookies used by our website won’t typically contain information that can identify you, but they can be linked to the personal information we store about you. Web servers can use cookies to identify and track users as they navigate different pages.
We use the following session and persistent cookies:
If you block cookies you will not be able to use all features that our website has to offer, as well as other websites you may visit. Most browsers allow you to do this; for example:
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for a month. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
By consenting to this cookie policy you are giving us permission to use cookies to capture data about you specifically for the purposes identified above in this document.
